Yet another holiday has come and about to pass. These annual rituals give the human life meaning, structure, creating connections, eat and laugh together.
Across three countries we share what we cooked and baked.
Surprise Christmas Eve dinner: crab legs!! why not surprise your guests with something non-conventional and oh so easy to make 😉
Klicha; a sweet bread very similar to Challah
Zaatar bread, fresh out of the oven
So enjoy yourself and the loved ones, life is about our connections and making memories. We wish everyone in the world peace, love and again PEACE!!
The sweet bread looks super interesting 🙂 🙂
It is perfect not too sweet, slight waft of spices when warmed. The closest taste would be challah bread. Happy holidays Andy!!
Love Crab legs!!!! Merry Christmas
Thank you Diana — it was a great succulent treat. Can’t beleive we had not thought of it before. Merry Christmas to you and yours! ⭐️🎄
Everything looks scrumptious, as I’m sure it was. Part of our Christmas Day tradition is salmon patties. Lasagna is served Christmas Eve. Now I might add crab legs to Christmas Day as a surprise next year.
Thank you. Salmon patties sounds yummy. We had smoked wild salmon from Seattle, it was the highlight of appettizer course. Thank you for sharing your tradition and what you love cooking!
Made me hungry reading this post and seeing those photos!
Sorry 😉 hope you are inspired to cook or enjoy a dinner party with your loved ones. No reason needed really !
